The equipment is by no means essential to the making of these tasty cocktails, but let me tell you: they will improve your cocktail making and tasting experience – and not mention impress your friends!

Improve the Taste

To improve the taste of your cocktails with Ginger Beer, a cocktail shaker is highly recommended.

The next thing we need to consider when making Cocktails with Ginger Beer is what brand of Ginger Beer to use.

What Brand of Ginger Beer Should I Use?

It’s a great question.

Many Ginger Beer fans reading this article may already have their favourite in mind, but we thought we’d run through our favourites and explain precisely which Ginger Beer we prefer using.

For our cocktails with ginger beer recipes, we recommend:

Old Jamaican Ginger Beer (case of 24)

Bundaberg Ginger Beer (pack of 15)

But which is the Best?

I love Bundaberg because it’s made from 100% natural ingredients and comes at a really decent price for a pack of 15.

The only downside to it is that it doesn’t have a fiery kick to it that I love from my Ginger Beer.

Fentiman’s Ginger Beer also has 100% organic ingredients but also has a beautiful, fiery kick behind it. The only problem is, it’s quite expensive for a pack of 8 bottles.

Old Jamaican doesn’t have 100% organic ingredients, however, it does have a powerful kick to it. Also, the price is fantastic for a case of 24 cans – much cheaper than the other two options.

Our Verdict

So what’s the best ginger beer for cocktails with ginger beer?

For you, the best option may be based on your tastes and what you value you most out of a Ginger Beer.

For me, it’s the fiery kick and that’s precisely why my favourite from the bunch of options is Old Jamaican.
